Don’t take my word for it. Try it.

GOAL. By the end, a one-page website you described in plain English exists as a real file on your computer, and you opened it yourself. Total cost: about thirty minutes.

WHY IT MATTERS. Before you trust a 19-module path, you deserve proof that YOU can do this. Not watch someone do it. Do it. This module is that proof, using nothing but a free account and a browser.

• 0.1Open your web browser and go to `claude.ai`.
• 0.2Create your free account: click the sign-up button, pick your login method (Google or email), and finish whatever screens follow until you land in the chat. No payment screen appears. The free plan covers this entire module.
• 0.3Send a test message like "Say hello" and confirm you get a reply. That’s how this works: you type, it answers. Everything you build today happens in this window.
• 0.4Decide what your page is about and write 3–5 sentences somewhere (notes app, paper): who the page is for, what it offers or says, and what sections it needs. Then, press the microphone button on the right side of the chat and say, "I’m building a personal webpage for my business. Interview me until you have enough information to build the front page." Press send.
• 0.5Send this message with your sentences pasted at the end: `Build me a complete one-page personal website as a single HTML file. Modern, clean design. Here is what it’s about:`
• 0.6Watch the panel that opens beside the chat as the page assembles itself, live. That panel is called an Artifact. You don’t need to do anything. Just see that it’s building. (Ask what an Artifact is.)
• 0.7When it finishes, read your page top to bottom in the preview. It won’t be perfect. A first pass at ~80% is the system working, not failing.
• 0.8Make a punch list: write down the three things you’d change. Wording, colors, a section that’s off, whatever bugs you.
• 0.9Send all three changes as ONE message, each item concrete and specific: what’s wrong, where, and what "fixed" looks like. E.g. `The headline is generic. Change it to "..."` not `make it better.` Watch the page update. (Ask how to write change requests that land.)
• 0.10One taste tweak: name a color you actually love and say `change the accent color to [that color]`. Confirm it in the preview. The page is starting to be YOURS.
• 0.11Download it: find the download control on the Artifact panel and save the HTML file somewhere you can find it, like your Desktop.
• 0.12Go to your Desktop and double-click the file. It opens in your browser. That is a real webpage, on your real computer, that you made by talking.
• 0.13Show it to one person, or send them the file. Say it plainly: "I made this with AI in half an hour." Watch their face.
